Who You’ll Work With:

As an Intern, you will be placed in one of the below teams:

• Internal Audit works with other business areas within the firm to review their policies, processes, and procedures to determine whether there are any potential weaknesses.
• Technology teams support a vast range of investment platforms, providing computing, communications, infrastructure, services, support, and innovations.
• Operations provides vital investment-management functions and delivers a wide range of middle and back-office support to all of AB’s investment services.
• Legal is responsible for managing legal matters and mitigating potential risks for the company across all businesses on a global basis. They provide thorough advice and counsel to internal stakeholders, prepare policy updates and trainings regarding relevant legislative and regulatory changes. Our team drafts legal documents and agreements in accordance with applicable laws and is also responsible for defending the company and its interests in disputes and litigation matters.
• Compliance makes sure the company follows all the laws and rules that apply to it. They work to protect the company's reputation and prevent any problems that could arise due to breaking the rules. The team does this by working closely with the different parts of the company, giving them advice while monitoring the firm’s activities and provide training to make sure our employees know the laws and rules that apply to our business. They help the company achieve its goals in an honest and ethical manner.
• Finance is responsible for managing the financial operations of the organization. This includes financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, accounting, tax management and financial reporting. The department also plays a critical role in providing financial analysis and insights to support strategic decision-making by senior management.

What We’re Looking For:

• High School Seniors graduating in May 2024
• Those who demonstrate academic excellence and are in good standing with their school
• Students with strong communication and demonstrated leadership skills
• Team players who also have the ability to work independently
• Individuals who have the ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced atmosphere
• People who have an interest in finance or asset management
• People who permanently reside in the metro Nashville area
• Must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident
• Candidate must be available to work full-time from June to July (It is not permissible to simultaneously take academic classes or hold other employment that will conflict with the internship schedule)
• Selected candidates will need to successfully complete a thorough background check
