FUTURO is a college success professional development organization. FUTURO's college and career readiness program helps students build up professional skills. We actively work on helping students build their career aspirations that are centered around leadership, service, and community engagement.
Currently located in Middle Tennessee, FUTURO, Inc. is a career-readiness leadership nonprofit organization that works to close the workforce and educational gaps. FUTURO officially incorporated in May 2015, after an incubation period under the local chamber of commerce in 2011. In 2022, FUTURO celebrated its ten-year anniversary.
Familial commitments may compete with the time and energy needed for coursework and career development.
Limited financial resources demand balancing school, work, and other obligations.
Lack of access to mentors and professional networks shrink awareness of job and career possibilities, making it difficult to get a foot in the door.
